+1 Loot To Forge Gear, Recipes & Enchant Runes

What raises a forged weapon or armor piece, where the recipe question actually ends, and how the enchant and skill layers sit on top of gear.

Quick answer

Gear comes out of a category roll, not a fixed recipe

The Forge does not ask you for one ore combination per sword. You place ores, the Preview panel prints a percentage for each gear category it can land in, and the item is drawn inside that category — so the decision you actually make is which category to push. The measured readings live on the recipes page; this page covers what happens to the piece afterwards.

What the game shows you

Each entry names where the detail comes from and what still has to be read off the game itself.

How a forged item is actually decided

The Forge has a Weapon button and an Armor button, and the Preview panel describes only the side that is active. Place ores and the panel lists the categories that side can land in, each with its own percentage; the item is then drawn inside that category. No ore-to-item recipe is published by the creator, and none was measured here, so a table that pairs one ore with one sword cannot be checked against the current build.

  • Category and percentage come first; the specific item is the roll that follows.
  • Adding ores moves the split between categories, which is what the recipes page measures.
  • Weapons and armor are separate Forge options, so a recipe answer without naming the slot is incomplete.

Weapons and armor answer two different failures

Slow kills and dying early look like the same problem and are not. The weapon side of the Forge raises damage; the armor option exists for survivability, and the reported symptom that calls for it is being one-tapped in later stages.

Symptom in a runWhat to feedWhy
Kills take too longThe weapon side of the ForgeOre rarity raises the weapon result, and that is the damage side
Dying before the run endsThe armor option in the ForgeLater enemies are reported to one-shot under-geared players
Bag fills before the run endsThe upgrade screen firstWithout bag capacity, a run cannot carry the ore it just earned
The armor option and the one-shot symptom are reported by a creator walkthrough collected on September 20, 2026; the Forge preview confirms the result for your own ore.

Enchanting: runes go into sockets, not into a stat menu

The Enchant stall in the hub opens a panel with gear on the left under Weapon, Helmet and Armor, rune tabs along the top, and the selected piece in the middle with the sockets the rune goes into. Pick the piece, pick the rune tab, click an empty socket, then press Enchant; the weapon picks up a coloured aura once the rune is in.

  • One recorded weapon card showed two rune markers and a helmet card showed a row of four, so the socket count is read off the piece rather than assumed.
  • Runes drop from Frostbound Tower rounds; the tower's Possible Drop row lists rune entries alongside Coins and an Ember Stone.
  • Tower runs spend Tower Tickets; a recorded panel showed 68 held and a daily claim of 2.
  • Only the poison rune has published numbers so far, and they come from a third-party walkthrough: 3% on hit, damage over time at 0.3% of ATK every 0.2 seconds for 2.2 seconds.

The skill index grades the move, not your account

The index lists weapon moves with letter grades, and the grades describe the move itself. In the walkthrough reviewed, SS was named as the top grade, with two moves named as the SS examples and three more named as the next-best alternatives.

  • Named as the top grade: Absolute Cleave and Golden Collapse.
  • Named as the next-best alternatives: Endless Gale, Wave Break Slash and Blazing Pierce.
  • The index in game is what grades the moves your account can actually roll, so two players can see different lists.

Claiming index entries is reported to hand out Power

Claiming entries in the index is reported to grant a Power boost, and the walkthrough names both an unowned weapon entry and an armor entry as cases that pay out. It costs nothing but the trip back to the index.

Still unverified

No item stat table, no full rune effect list, no stacking rules

Per-weapon damage numbers, the effects of the flame, frost and thunder runes, and how two runes combine are not published by the creator and were not measured here. The item tooltip and the enchant screen are the authority, and a stat table copied from another site cannot be checked against the current build.

FAQ

Gear, recipes and runes questions

What is the best weapon recipe?

There is no per-item recipe to pick. Choose the side and the category your run needs, then read the Preview percentage before you forge; the recipes page has the ore counts one session needed for each category.

Where do recipe tables on other sites come from?

Not from the creator: no ore-to-item list is published, and none was measured here. The Forge Preview is the only per-craft answer in the current build.

Should I forge a weapon or armor first?

Match it to the failure: slow kills mean the weapon side, dying early means the armor option. If neither is failing, bag capacity is the better spend.

Can I move runes between gear pieces?

Not established here. A rune goes into a socket on one piece at the Enchant stall, and whether it comes back out or survives replacing that piece is something the panel itself answers.

Do skill grades change as I play?

The index grades the moves available to your account, so your list can differ from another player's screen. Read the grades there rather than from a fixed ranking.
